Works with other members of the senior management team to develop a risk analysis of all the company’s operations and estimates the likelihood of the occurrence of various possible disasters.
Sets up an emergency response plan and train personnel in its implementation.
Conducts tests of various aspects of the emergency response plan and the crisis management program.
Oversees and consults with the IT department to keep all corporate information secure from hackers and viruses as well as all other forms of disaster.
Investigates possible ways for the company to operate if part or the entire corporate infrastructure was damaged or destroyed.
Oversees addition of emergency planning information to company’s intranet and provides training for all workers in how to access and use the information.
Audits the program on a regular basis to ensure that it is modified as necessary to address changes in operations or conditions.
Prepare reports summarizing operational results, financial performance, or accomplishments of specified objectives, goals, or plans.
Create Bi-annual training plans on business continuity management and provide regular trainings to the staff for competence building.
Liaison with HSE department to ensure the emergency arrangement related to occupational health and safety are in place
